Minorities
- Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation which engages approximately 25% of all science and engineering students nationally drawn from underrepresented groups. Recent evaluation data show superior academic performance and persistence to graduate education by LSAMP students.
- The Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) is engaged in somewhat comparable activities to produce the next generation of minority faculty.
- The Garcia-Just-Hill website offers ready access to communities of minorities in the sciences.
- Linakages to minority serving institutions are facilitated by such web sites as MOLIS and the in-development Science Education Resource Virtual Diversity Center.
